A day out in London

As school is drawing to a close, and the British weather is looking  up ( lets not jinx it), I have taken it upon myself to explore more of  my city – London. Over the past couple of weeks I have been exploring more and more and I  just wanted to give you an insight to a typical day in London from my prespective :

My day started by me getting a Jubilee line to London Bridge where I had to attend an event for a small part of the morning. After the event,I headed towards Borough market since I’d heard so much about it and thought why not go see it for myself? The market was lovely with so many different types of dishes, there was something for everyone; from Indian dosas to falafel wraps no one could go there and be hungry haha! The place was so cute and it had new and exciting dishes to try which was awesomee!

Now being right next to London Bridge, I most definitely had to go and walk up the bridge and soak in the views and thats exactly what I did next!I  then went over the bridge to the main high streets and did  a spot of (window) shopping.

I was then invited to have lunch in Camden with  some cousins and so I just hopped on the northern line from Bank Station to Camden Town .Getting there early meant I had to wait while everyone took their good old time getting there  (eventually).  We went to eat lunch at a Latin Caribbean restaurant- Guanabana. The restaurant had nice food but wasn’t anything too exceptional or out of the ordinary.I ordered the chicken fajitas, fries which were covered in cheese ,mince meat and mustard and a guanabanana mojito. The fries were really not to my liking as I just found them too strong, but I  would really recommend the guananabana mojito  as it was really nice and so sweet!

For dessert,we decided to explore Camden Lock market and get some small desserts to satisfy our sweet tooth craving even though we were so full.We ended up getting a selection of donuts, fresh cream eclairs and cronuts (a hybrid of a croissant and donut) which were all so yummy and fresh!

Next,we decided to burn off a few of the calories by walking to Reagents park the walk wouldn’t have been too long had I been navigated properly, (never trust anyone with Google Maps) but nonetheless we got there in the end.As if we weren’t exhausted enough we decided to go pedal boating in the lake and it was so much fun! Luckily,I managed to get out of pedalling so spent the whole time enjoying the view and taking plenty go selfies. The boating trip was by far a key highlight of my  day and probably my favourite part and I would totally recommend it to everyone.

After that I was way too exhausted and just got to Bakers street station to make my way home. And that was the end of my day in London.
